Position Overview:
We are seeking a Lead Analyst for Biodefense Program Management to join our team. This full-time position involves providing critical program management support to the Biodefense Council Secretariat, playing a vital role in national defense initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate the planning and execution of Biodefense Council meetings.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive work plans for the Biodefense Council.
3. Coordinate governance taskings within the Department of Defense (DoD).
4. Create and implement standard operating procedures for Biodefense Council documentation, including agendas and briefing materials.
5. Integrate and manage Biodefense Council outputs and ensure effective coordination within the DoD.
6. Conduct thorough reviews of all Biodefense Council documentation.
7. Manage staff actions originating from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense related to the Biodefense Council.
8. Assist in the scheduling and administration of Biodefense Council meetings as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Master’s degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or 23+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Proven experience in briefing senior DoD officials.
- Proficient in disseminating information across all organizational levels.
- Familiarity with the MS365 Suite, including Teams and SharePoint.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in biodefense initiatives within the DoD.
- Background in supporting DoD governance structures.
- Knowledge of the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS).
