Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage appointment scheduling by considering patient availability, urgency of medical conditions, clinic priorities, and the schedules of healthcare professionals.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of multiple Electronic Health Records systems to determine patient eligibility for services.
- Utilize understanding of various insurance plans to verify patients' coverage and ensure accurate billing processes, guiding patients through necessary steps such as completing intake forms and using the patient portal.
- Ensure all required intake forms are completed and verify that identification and insurance documents are correctly filed. Assess the possibility of accommodating late arrivals and make informed decisions for walk-in patients, including scheduling triage or consulting nursing staff. Schedule follow-up appointments during check-out as needed.
- Oversee and monitor assigned tasks within various Electronic Health Records systems.
- Provide information to prospective students regarding immunization compliance and communicate common challenges faced by students to the Front Office Coordinator.
- Review incoming faxes in electronic inboxes across multiple Electronic Health Record systems and assign them appropriately.
- Interpret nurse reports received after hours via fax to determine the nature of the complaint for proper team assignment.
- Ensure timely communication of radiology results by reviewing and attaching reports to original orders.
- Digitally scan and index paper-based patient documents and external electronic documents.
- Perform additional job-related tasks as necessary to maintain smooth office operations.

Salary:
$17.10 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends as required.
