Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Markets Sales Specialist to join our team in New York. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with 4 to 7 years of experience in global financial markets to grow their expertise and contribute to our success.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our Global Markets leadership team to build market share and revenue growth for our institutional client base.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our business and become an expert in how political risks fit into client investment and risk processes.
  • Leverage our global resources in country, sectoral research, market strategy, and geo-economics to create value-added coverage and develop solutions-based engagements with investment professionals.
  • Maintain knowledge of market developments, asset classes, and political risks to engage with and provide value to sophisticated institutional investors.
  • Create and build in-depth strategic account plans and provide support to senior leadership in business and strategy planning.
Desired Skills
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in global financial markets in a client-facing role with experience and knowledge of multiple asset classes, investment styles, and client types.
  • Prior experience in an institutional sales (sell-side or buy-side), advisory role, and/or consulting with a proven ability to monetize a differentiated research and advisory offering.
  • Background in Emerging markets, FX, and fixed income markets, as well as other asset classes relevant to our business.
  • Prior experience with strategic planning and prospecting/pitching.
  • Demonstrable interest in Eurasia Group's core political risk assessment competency.
  • Must be a self-starter with a strong team-focused mindset, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Willingness and capacity to travel on an ongoing basis.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive base salary range of $93,000 to $119,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and empowering work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
