Chief Operating Officer

At Reneris, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the organization, building organizational and financial capacity, and working collaboratively with our Executive Director and other staff Directors to develop and meet broad organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and improve internal functions, ensuring the organization is appropriately staffed and managed with necessary resources to fulfill its mission.
- Provide general day-to-day problem-solving to keep the organization running smoothly.
- Oversee development and monitoring of annual operating budget and long-range financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met for real estate acquisition, financing, and property management.
- Assist in development and implementation of the strategic plan.
- Develop and lead performance management process to measure and evaluate progress against goals and metrics.
- Understand and implement organizational policies and procedures.
- Oversee human resources matters, including recruiting, hiring, training, development, compensation, and benefits.
- Promote a positive, supportive, and collaborative work environment.
- Strengthen organizational systems for communication, coordination, and planning.
- Oversee information technology matters.
- Assist Executive Director in management of Board of Directors and Committees.
- Serve as organizational representative to the greater community.
- Review insurance coverages and general legal liabilities.
- At least 5 years of organizational development experience in a senior leadership position.
- Experience in affordable housing development, finance, management, and compliance preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Naturally collaborative work style with effective management.
- Ability to connect with and support staff on both rational and emotional sides of our work.
- Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
- Problem solver with attention to detail and adaptability.
- Proficient with Mac, Google Workspace, and Quickbooks.
- Full-time position
- $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience and qualifications
