Overview

Position Summary

In a role that requires limited oversight, the Client Services Associate II engages with policyholders and agents to address inquiries effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Input beneficiary modifications, address updates, and form requests into the database
  • Manage policy provisions, alterations, reinstatements, and withdrawal histories
  • Address basic requests such as beneficiary modifications and address updates
  • Ensure adherence to company standards while maintaining customer records
  • Professionally resolve customer complaints
  • Ensure that outstanding issues are addressed appropriately
  • May calculate cash values, premium adjustments, loan balances, and similar values
  • Perform related tasks as necessary
  • Provide coverage for CSR III roles as needed
Position Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to learn and apply tax regulations relevant to distributions and modifications of annuity and life policies
  • Competence in performing complex manual calculations
  • Strong organizational capabilities
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with the public
  • Familiarity with customer service principles and practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency and typing skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NWL products or similar offerings
  • Effective communication skills with customers via telephone
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required with 3 years of experience in call center customer service or office administration in a fast-paced environment; or an Associate's degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in the insurance sector is preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • No specific licenses required
  • Completion of LOMA insurance courses I and II is mandatory within the first year of employment
Supervision & Leadership
  • No supervisory responsibilities
Work Environment
  • This position operates within a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
  • Regular attendance is expected, with potential overtime during peak periods.
  • Employees are frequently required to use their hands for tasks and communicate verbally.
