We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our team at AT&T Hotel & Conference Center. Key Responsibilities- Reservation Management: Answer all incoming reservation calls, providing prompt and courteous service, and book all group and transient room reservations following proper procedures.
- Guest Service: Promote hotel services, amenities, and upsell products to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Communication: Respond to special requests from guests, and forward requests to appropriate team members for decisions and actions.
- Team Collaboration: Assist the Group Rooms Coordinator with creating room blocks and transfer incoming calls to the proper area.
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome, using a positive and clear speaking voice, and respond to requests with appropriate action and accurate information.
- Reservation Processing: Complete and create reservations for hotel guests, sending folios, quoting rates, and providing alternatives to our property if unable to accommodate guests.
- System Management: Input all guest information into a computer system, confirming pertinent information, including arrival dates, number of nights, and room rate.
- Rate Selection: Make appropriate selections of rate types depending on guest needs and the current sell strategy.
- Emergency Response: Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency and/or heavy hotel activity, and resolve complications from guest reservations.
- Team Support: Assist Group Rooms Coordinator by inputting group guest lists and inputting new group room blocks, and be aware of Guest Service Agent's duties to help out in time of need.
- Operational Support: Operate various office machines and assist with other tasks as needed.
