Overview
Position Summary
The Client Services Representative III is responsible for addressing a significant volume of incoming calls from our esteemed policyholders and/or producers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Outstanding Customer Service
- Provide thorough assistance regarding our company's offerings
- Ensure accurate and complete internal documentation that adheres to regulatory and compliance standards
- Assess customer needs, investigate issues, and offer solutions
- Manage and resolve situations involving dissatisfied customers
- Often mentors less experienced Client Services Representatives, which may include daily training
- Handles complex service requests
- Calculates cash values, premium adjustments, loan balances, and other relevant figures
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient telephone etiquette
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Ability to perform intricate manual mathematical calculations
- Must be capable of learning, understanding, and applying tax regulations related to distributions and modifications of annuity and life policies
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge and application of customer service principles and practices
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills
- Detail-oriented
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or GED required
- One to two years of experience in call center customer service
- Previous experience in the insurance sector is preferred but not mandatory
- No specific licenses required
- Completion of LOMA insurance courses I and II is mandatory within the first year of employment
- No supervisory responsibilities
- This role operates within a professional office setting. Standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines are routinely used.
- Regular and predictable attendance is essential. Overtime may be necessary during peak periods.
