Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Hire, fire, perform performance evaluations, train, and develop Front Desk staff. Schedule staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy.
  • Guest Service Quality: Maintain standards of guest service quality. Contribute to the profitability and guest satisfaction perception of other hotel departments.
  • Financial Management: Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximize profitability related to the guest services department.

This role also involves developing short-term and long-term financial and operational plans for the guest service department, participating in the preparation of the annual hotel budget, and managing the reservation function to maintain the highest possible room occupancy and average daily rate.
