IEM Inc is seeking a highly skilled Grants Manager to support the state's Broadband Program funded by BEAD and other state and federal funds.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and administering grants to support the expansion of broadband infrastructure and access in the selected state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement grant programs and initiatives to support broadband expansion in the state.
  • Supervise a team of Grants Specialists.
  • Manage the full grant lifecycle, including grant application review, awarding, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, service providers, and community organizations, to ensure effective grant implementation.
  • Monitor grant compliance with federal regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to grant recipients to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Evaluate grant outcomes and impact on broadband accessibility and adoption in the state.
  • Prepare and present reports to state leadership and federal agencies on grant program performance.
  • Stay informed about federal funding guidelines and requirements related to BEAD and other state and federal funds.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align grant activities with broader broadband program goals.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for funding and partnership to enhance the state's broadband program.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Public Administration, Business, or Communications, or 9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Five (5) years of experience in grants management, preferably in a government or non-profit setting.
  • Experience in supervising and working with a grants management team.
  • Knowledge of federal grant regulations and reporting requirements, especially related to broadband consulting and/or broadband grant programs at the state or federal level.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple grants simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a focus on compliance and reporting accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
