Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and ensure the successful execution of product development initiatives and projects, adhering to timelines, budget constraints, and specified requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct product development projects to meet established targets and objectives, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and quality standards.
  • Create project timelines by analyzing project plans, breaking them into sequenced tasks and milestones, estimating durations, and gathering information from cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure adherence to the Dometic Product Development Process, escalating issues formally when targets are not achieved or project execution is delayed.
  • Monitor project progress by maintaining schedules, leading cross-functional team meetings, coordinating activities, and resolving any arising issues.
  • Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, Operations, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Product Management.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, recommending necessary actions.
  • Ensure all program deliverables are met, along with the associated documentation.
  • Conduct presentations at key stakeholder meetings.
  • Maintain the project database.
  • Stay informed about and contribute to the corporate Dometic Product Development Process, ensuring local implementation and training for other project managers as needed.
  • Perform additional job duties and assignments as required.
  • Define project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in an engineering setting.
  • A minimum of 2 years in program management roles.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Teams, Project, PowerPoint, and Excel, with a quick learning ability for new software.
  • Experience in product development, new product launches, and high-volume production environments.
  • Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
