Overview:

  1. Responsible for ensuring job performance aligns with the organization's risk management framework, making decisions that adhere to established risk appetite and tolerance levels.
  2. Utilize expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to implement project management best practices, enhancing the maturity of the Project Management Office (PMO).
  3. Oversee complex strategic initiatives and collaborate with diverse teams to achieve strategic objectives aimed at transforming operations and improving the overall customer experience.
  4. Facilitate the removal of obstacles and promote a collaborative atmosphere for high-performing teams focused on continuous improvement.
  5. Apply change management skills to assist teams in adapting to a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
  6. Exhibit a strong sense of urgency and accountability to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, ensuring a seamless transition to operational teams and product owners.
  7. Engage proactively with stakeholders to establish project direction and address project-related challenges with professionalism and tact.
  8. Expertise in crafting and delivering high-level communications and presentations to executives.
  9. Develop and maintain a comprehensive project management framework and associated documentation.
  10. Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility.
  11. Create detailed project plans to be shared with stakeholders for transparency.
  12. Coordinate internal resources and external vendors for the successful execution of multiple projects.
  13. Utilize appropriate project management tools and techniques to measure performance effectively.
  14. Conduct risk management activities to minimize potential project risks.
  15. Maintain thorough project documentation to ensure clarity and continuity.

Essential Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; or a college diploma specializing in project management.

Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2TM, SCRUM Master) or equivalent is required.

A minimum of 2 years of comprehensive experience in project management, including the development and oversight of project deliverables such as stakeholder analysis, project charter, schedules, budgets, risk management plans, quality plans, and status reports.

Experience in information technology and banking-related projects is essential.

Knowledge of Organizational Change Management (e.g., Prosci) is preferred.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) is required.

Strong skills in MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) are necessary.

Experience with diagramming software (e.g., MS Visio) is beneficial.

Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps is advantageous.

Experience in delivering IT Service Management (ITSM) and lean processes or operational technology support within the banking sector is preferred.
