Position: Senior Project Management Specialist

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Compensation: $90/Hr to $98/Hr on W2

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of projects from inception to completion, ensuring the development of optimal business processes and the implementation of technology solutions.
  • Collaborate across various departments and entities to manage comprehensive project initiatives, leveraging a deep understanding of requirements, technologies, and business strategies.
  • Guarantee the delivery of the desired outcomes, including necessary governance, redesign of business processes, and implementation of appropriate controls.
  • Facilitate the translation of business requirements into actionable technology solutions.
  • Oversee weekly status updates, maintain the program's RAID log, and conduct regular working groups to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Share relevant information with management to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in delivering significant cross-functional projects within large and complex financial institutions.
  • Expertise in structuring initiatives, project planning, and resource management.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO-related system functions, including payments, compliance, and regulatory changes.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and broker-dealer frameworks.
  • Familiarity with risk management, finance, operations, and data processes, along with the enabling technologies.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Solid proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding in diverse environments.

Skills Required:

  • 8 to 10 years of project management experience, including 2 to 4 years focused on swaps, derivatives, and market operations.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork capabilities, with mandatory knowledge of swaps and derivatives.

Educational Background:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or an MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
