Client Relations Advisor

The Relationship Specialist plays a crucial role in our service team, working under the guidance of the Branch Manager to empower individuals and families to achieve their financial goals. This position involves collaborating with team members to deliver personalized experiences and effective financial solutions for our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster an exceptional member service atmosphere that promotes financial wellness and offers consultative guidance.
- Build and nurture relationships with members through proactive outreach and follow-up initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with branch staff and other departments to identify and implement solutions for members.
- Adapt seamlessly between various roles and responsibilities within the branch to meet member needs.
- Represent Chartway positively within the community.
- Accurately process member transactions and assist with account openings, personal financing, real estate lending, investment referrals, and small business deposit products.
- Ensure compliance with branch operations, best practices, and federal regulations.
- Proven ability to establish strong relationships in a friendly and professional manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage challenging situations with composure and control.
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability in meeting deadlines.
- Understanding of diversity and inclusion best practices, with the ability to work collaboratively across various identities and backgrounds.
- Willingness to embrace new challenges in a dynamic environment and maintain poise under pressure.
- Fundamental analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Familiarity with credit union policies, procedures, and the products and services offered.
- Awareness of potential suspicious activities or transactions and the responsibility to report them as required by policy.
- Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1-3 years in delivering exceptional customer service, creative problem-solving, and relationship management.
