Position Summary
We are seeking a Master Benefits Advisor / Master Trainer to enhance our operations. This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive VA Benefits and Services Briefings, facilitating individual consultations, and providing pre-separation counseling. The Master Advisor will lead transition support initiatives and conduct various military life cycle events, ensuring seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
The Master Benefits Advisor will:

  • Lead operational deployment activities for personnel.
  • Oversee non-event related tasks at the designated installation.
  • Manage travel logistics for staff members.
  • Develop and implement a coverage model for the installation.
  • Coordinate field staff training sessions.
  • Conduct order reviews and manage inventory.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and teleconferences.
  • Communicate new policies and operational guidelines to staff.
  • Execute quality management processes across the program.
  • Facilitate onsite activities and manage post-event data collection.
  • Deliver training for new employees to ensure curriculum adherence.

Required Skills
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong understanding of adult learning principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of VA benefits programs.
  • Experience with transitioning service member demographics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent customer management and support capabilities.
  • Experience in delivering engaging workshops and training sessions.

Required Experience
Applicants should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or 5 – 7 years of relevant work or military experience.
  • Preferred background in Training, Education, Career Counseling, or Human Resources.
  • Relevant certifications.

Preferred Skills
