Overview

Lead, manage, and assess the daily operations of the outbound inside sales team, focusing on performance metrics, retention statistics, and staffing needs to achieve sales objectives and deliver an exceptional customer service experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily sales operations of the inside sales team.
  • Develop and implement policies, guidelines, and procedures governing the inside sales team, including quality control measures and performance metrics.
  • Utilize software tools to ensure adherence to schedules and develop strategies to address any issues.
  • Foster teamwork by effectively communicating information, ensuring understanding, and involving team members in decision-making.
  • Lead training initiatives by conducting ongoing sales and customer service training programs, staying updated on company information to enhance team performance.
  • Analyze inside sales operations to identify trends and drive improvements in customer service and resource utilization.
  • Create a positive work environment that promotes high performance.
  • Provide daily direction, guidance, coaching, and professional development to the inside sales team.
  • Set clear performance expectations and assist in achieving sales goals through hiring, training, and coaching.
  • Manage a small portfolio of accounts to maintain market engagement.
  • Attend industry conferences to enhance expertise.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of three years of sales experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Physical Demands

This role requires considerable time spent sitting and typing on a computer or mobile device. Occasional activities may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
