The Retail Floor Lead at Vuori plays a pivotal role in guiding the retail sales team by exemplifying our brand values and fostering connections with customers through extensive product knowledge and a positive demeanor. This position is essential to the store's leadership team, overseeing the retail floor, delegating tasks, and serving as a reliable resource for the team. Working closely with the Store Manager, the Floor Lead supports various leadership responsibilities as needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate Exceptional Customer Experiences:
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure every customer enjoys a top-notch shopping experience.
- Take charge of the sales floor and team to prioritize customer satisfaction.
- Prepare fitting rooms, assist customers in finding sizes, and provide honest, knowledgeable feedback on merchandise.
- Build lasting relationships with customers by engaging them about product details and inviting them to events.
- Stay informed about new arrivals and bestsellers, sharing insights with customers and the team.
Drive Business Success:
- Lead daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
- Inspire the sales team to meet sales targets in a collaborative commission-based environment.
- Enhance product knowledge in the fashion and activewear sectors to serve as a customer expert.
- Guide the team in project completion while maintaining a focus on customer service.
- Communicate inventory requirements to align with business objectives.
Leadership and Ownership:
- Partner with the Retail Store Manager on daily operations, sales strategies, and team management to ensure smooth business functioning.
- Oversee daily store maintenance, including restocking, visual merchandising, and cleanliness.
- Exercise utmost responsibility and adherence to safety protocols during store opening and closing.
- Encourage team members to maintain punctuality and fulfill their roles effectively.
- Availability for morning and/or evening shifts, working 8-hour days, 5 days a week, including at least one weekend day.
- A minimum of 1 year of professional leadership experience, preferably in retail.
- Demonstrated reliability in attendance and punctuality.
- Proven ability to cultivate relationships with customers and team members.
- Expertise in customer service, creating memorable experiences, and effectively addressing customer concerns.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Quick learner, responsive to feedback, and eager for personal growth.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accountability, ownership, and initiative.
Pay Range: $19-$21 + team commission
