Overview


Manage, lead, and evaluate the daily operations of the outbound inside sales team, focusing on performance metrics, retention statistics, and staffing requirements to ensure the achievement of sales objectives and the delivery of exceptional customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily sales activities of the inside sales team.
  • Develop and implement policies, guidelines, and procedures governing the inside sales team, including quality control measures, performance criteria, and strategies to enhance caller engagement and sales.
  • Utilize software to ensure adherence to schedules and develop tactics to address any adherence issues.
  • Foster teamwork by effectively communicating information, ensuring understanding, and involving team members in decisions; lead training initiatives through ongoing sales and customer service training programs.
  • Analyze operations to provide insights into inside sales performance; review trends and drive changes to improve customer service and resource utilization.
  • Create a positive work environment conducive to high-performing teams; provide daily direction, guidance, coaching, and professional development related to performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.
  • Achieve sales goals by hiring, training, and coaching employees to develop their selling skills and maintain adequate sales pipelines.
  • Attend sales group meetings to discuss targets or forecasts and report on market conditions.
  • Manage a small book of accounts to remain market-facing and attend industry conferences to enhance industry knowledge.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus three years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
Physical Demands

Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device. Occasional activities may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping. May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.

This position is deemed a safety-sensitive position. As such, any person who is given a conditional offer of employment will be required to pass a drug test.
