As the Culinary Operations Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations within our dynamic environment. This includes menu development, inventory management, staff training and supervision, and ensuring adherence to strict sanitation and safety standards.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement innovative menus that cater to diverse palates and dietary requirements.
- Manage food costs effectively while maintaining high quality standards.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of talented culinary professionals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing culinary operations in a full-service restaurant or events venue setting.
- A proven track record of meeting projected costs and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer software applications, including MS Word/Excel/Outlook.
- Current Food Handler's card and alcohol service permit (if required).
- Working knowledge of employee scheduling in a hospitality environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification in a nationally recognized sanitation program.
- Technical proficiency and experience demonstrating verifiable knowledge of food preparation methods.
