Senior Resident Care Director

Job Summary:
Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Resident Care Director to lead our clinical programs and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing all clinical programs, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all clinical programs, including medication management, wound care, and resident assessments.
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director of Resident Care to provide training and support to clinical staff.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to resident care.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to clinical staff, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, community partners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
- Current state license as a Professional Registered Nurse per state regulations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Experience in assisted living and/or long-term care.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire clinical staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
