Senior Resident Care Director

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Resident Care Director to lead our clinical team and provide exceptional care to our residents. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the health and well-being of our residents, ensuring high-quality care and services are delivered in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide overall leadership and management of the clinical team, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and coordination of care.
- Clinical Programs and Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain clinical programs and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Sunrise Senior Living standards.
- Training and Development: Assist in the training and onboarding of clinical and care coordinator team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Medication Management: Assist and partner with the Regional Director of Resident Care to provide Medication Care Manager training, ensuring our team members are equipped to manage medications effectively.
- Nursing at-Sunrise Training: Provide training and support to ensure our team members are knowledgeable about Sunrise Senior Living's nursing practices and standards.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of five (5) years' experience as a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of two (2) years' experience in nursing management.
- Education and Certifications: Maintains current state license as a Professional Registered Nurse per state regulations in the states they cover and support.
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrates competence in assessment skills, injections/medication administration, follow-up, and triage. Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate small group presentations and trainings.
