As Senior Vice President, Operations for Care Continuum, you will:
Oversee a senior leadership team tasked with the daily operational execution, facilitating both operational and performance management and enhancement.

Ensure effective delivery and performance while promoting collaboration across all relevant departments to provide value to our client partners.

Encourage a culture that fosters engagement, teamwork, and accountability.
Collaborate closely with peers to ensure integration and cooperation across the operational model.

Be responsible for core operational areas of the care continuum, including: outpatient care management, acute and post-acute management, hospital throughput, in-home services, palliative care, quality operations, and clinical development and optimization.

Leverage existing and propose new performance insight reports that will drive value outcomes and performance in key performance indicators.

Work alongside direct reports to ensure the formulation and ongoing management of key initiative planning and execution.

Guide and assess the work of subordinate management staff; establish and refine performance standards; educate, mentor, and develop management personnel.


A Day in the Life:
Operational Leadership
Provide robust leadership and direction to operational functions.
Monitor the performance of operational areas as well as client partner KPIs.
Identify best practice methodologies and collaborate with leaders to scale across client partnerships as necessary.
Spot areas of opportunity to enhance care and performance throughout the care continuum.
Ensure operational performance aligns with the contractual obligations of client partnerships.
Budget Management

Manage Care Continuum Operations through:
Budgeting across relevant departments.
FTE planning, monitoring, and reassessment.
Department expense oversight.
Team Leadership
Develop a high-performing leadership team, offering coaching and mentorship to key managers.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture.
Encourage professional growth and talent retention.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Utilize a "First Team" approach in developing and sustaining peer relationships.

Requirements
We are enthusiastic about you if you possess the following:
Knowledge of EMRs, Data, Technology, Care Management, Analytics, and other essential population health functions.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector.
Proven operational leadership experience.
Understanding of health system, health plan, and physician enterprise operational models.
A bachelor's degree in business or a relevant field is required.
Strong leadership capabilities at all organizational levels.
Complex problem-solving skills in both individual and group contexts.
Demonstrated success in leading improvement initiatives.
High expectations of others coupled with a sense of fairness.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to documentation.
Operationally perceptive and politically astute.

Familiarity with Medicare Advantage, Medicare, Commercial, Medicaid, duals, full risk, capitation, shared savings, MSSP ACO, and other lines of business.

Understanding of operational components that constitute a value-based care ecosystem.
Proficient in leading, directing, nurturing, and evaluating the performance of subordinate management staff.
Ability to analyze and assess results to determine if activities effectively meet care continuum operational objectives.
