Compensation Review and Administration

The SVP is responsible for leading the annual compensation review and development of compensation committee materials. They also lead the administration of nonqualified compensation and benefits plans and related compliance.

Merit Pay Plans and Salary Structures

The Executive Leader of Talent Development and Compensation develops and facilitates BHE-wide alignment of human resources standards and programs across the employee experience. They evaluate and track related metrics, lead human resources due diligence efforts, and serve as a resource for cross-business human resources activities.

Employee Relations and Retention

They lead recruiting and selection strategies and processes to fill vacancies for corporate groups. They monitor and analyze turnover to develop and implement strategies for employee retention. The SVP is also responsible for handling employee relations matters, conducting investigations, and completing related follow-up in response to employee complaints and ethics and compliance hotline reports.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. They should have ten years of progressive related experience, including five years of supervisory/management responsibilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills, are required. The self-motivated individual should be flexible and able to effectively manage several projects at the same time.
