Position Summary

We are looking for a Patient Services Manager to oversee our Patient Services Team in an Acute Care environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set objectives and manage the delivery of patient food services based on medical guidelines and patient demographics.
  • Recruit, guide, mentor, and train patient service team members.
  • Adhere to dietary restrictions for special or modified diets to ensure patient preferences align with dietary orders.
  • Support patient services staff in achieving established patient satisfaction targets.
  • Comply with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accreditation requirements, while upholding confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights.
  • Engage in and lead patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and organization-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree with one (1) year of experience in food services or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in food service technology/management or a related discipline.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in food service management, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • ServSafe certification is desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems.
