About the Role

Patient First is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our healthcare team in the Richmond, VA area. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our medical center, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Manage the overall operation of the medical center, including supervising staff, coordinating schedules, and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Staff Development: Interview, hire, and evaluate center staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent patient care.
  • Quality Assurance: Supervise and review all checklists for each center department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and safety are met.
  • Customer Service: Provide positive, warm, and friendly customer service to patients, clients, and staff, fostering a positive and professional atmosphere.
  • Administrative Tasks: Review and coordinate the processing of all paperwork pertaining to payroll, hiring, evaluations, pay changes, status, budgets, inventory, pharmacy, staffing, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of clerical experience and one year of clinical experience with administration of medications.
  • License: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, keyboarding experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
