Payroll Office Manager

Feufo Inc is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Office Manager to join our team in Boston, MA.
Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Office Manager to oversee the firm's payroll processing, HR and benefits administration, and office administration. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll regulations and software, excellent time management and multitasking skills, and a proven track record of success in office management or administrative roles.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and process the firm's weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Onboard and offboard employees, managing employee status changes and payroll records.
- Assist the HR Manager with benefits administration and related events.
- Oversee scheduling for Secretary coverage, ensuring Attorneys are adequately supported.
- Partner with HR to develop and update office policies as needed.
- Manage the general administration of the Boston office, including organizing meetings and events, and coordinating with external service providers.
- Handle office mail deliveries and greet guests.
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks as needed.
- Perform reviews and analyses of special projects, ensuring management is kept properly informed.
- Coordinate with the IT department regarding office equipment and technology-related issues.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and software.
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles.
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with Paycom payroll systems.
- Knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures.
- Experience in a law firm or professional services industry.
- High school diploma required; a college degree is preferred.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm personnel and external entities.
- Experience handling highly confidential information with discretion.
- Technical proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office.
Location: This position is based in Boston, MA, and is not remote or hybrid.
Travel: Occasional travel to the Providence office may be required.
