Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Payroll Office Manager to join our team at Feufo Inc. in Boston, MA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the firm's payroll, HR, and office administration functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process the firm's weekly payroll
  • Onboard and offboard employees
  • Run reports and process other employee status changes
  • Define procedures for managing payroll records
  • Assist with benefits administration and related events
  • Oversee scheduling for Secretary coverage
  • Partner with HR to develop and update office policies
  • Manage the general administration of the Boston office
  • Procure office supplies and coordinate with external service providers
  • Handle office mail deliveries and greet guests
  • Assist attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks
  • Perform reviews and analyses of special projects
  • Coordinate with the IT department regarding office equipment and technology-related issues
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and software
  • Proven experience in office management or administrative roles
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Paycom payroll systems
  • Knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services industry
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma required; a college degree is preferred
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm personnel and external entities
  • Experience handling highly confidential information with discretion
  • Technical proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office
Additional Information

This position is based in Boston, MA, and is not remote or hybrid. Occasional travel to the Providence office may be required.
