Our last prototype, Trenta, achieved remarkable milestones, including 10,000 high-power pulses and plasma temperatures of 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). We are now working towards Polaris, a groundbreaking project that will demonstrate electricity from fusion, making this an exciting time to join Helion Energy.
What We're Looking ForWe are seeking an on-call part-time unarmed security officer to oversee the security and order of our buildings, grounds, and property. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, ensuring doors, windows, and gates are adequately secured. You will report directly to our Physical Security Manager at our Everett, WA office.
Key Responsibilities:- Patrol and monitor properties to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Provide exceptional customer experiences through effective communication with guests
- Enforce site-specific directives and uphold all company policies
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed
- Maintain high visibility and attentiveness to details
- Be on-call for shift coverage needs, including callouts
- Collaborate with management and peers to achieve common goals
- Be a team player and contribute to a positive work environment
- 3+ years of high-level security experience
- Ability to participate in regular physical activity, including standing, walking, and climbing stairs and inclines
- High school diploma or GED and a clear criminal record
- Occasional lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds
- Standing or walking on different surfaces for extended periods
- Prior experience working with physical security access control systems, such as Genetech, Lenel S2, Access IT, CCTV, etc.
- CPR, First Aid, AED certification preferred
- Microsoft Office suite and similar applications
We offer a competitive hourly pay rate of $26.44-$31.25 USD, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 31 days of PTO, 13 paid holidays, and up to 5% employer 401(k) match.
