Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Pallet Repair Technician to join our service center team. This vital role is at the core of our supply chain operations. If you possess experience with pneumatic tools and are capable of performing physically demanding tasks, this position may be an excellent match for you.

Key Responsibilities

The Pallet Repair Technician will be responsible for the complete assembly and repair of pallets within our service center. Utilizing pneumatic nail guns, you will repair all pallet components. Your duties will include placing pallets on the repair table, removing damaged boards, replacing them with new ones, and securing them in place. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting any jams and performing basic maintenance on the saws.

  • Pallet Repair: Execute the full repair process of pallets, ensuring the removal and replacement of defective components.
  • Efficiency: Aim to meet daily production goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections to identify defects and ensure compliance with repair standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and report any hazards to supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Experience with production tools such as pneumatic nail guns is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 78 lbs for a significant portion of the work shift.
  • Capability to push and pull items with a maximum force of 34 lbs.
