Position Overview

This role is primarily based in our Denver, CO office, with options for remote work or relocation for the right candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advocate for the offerings of Primoris Renewable Energy, particularly in Energy Storage, to both new and existing clientele, including key decision-makers and influencers in the Renewable sector.
  • Analyze market dynamics and trends in both established and emerging sectors, providing insights and recommendations to the team to adapt to these evolving conditions.
  • Evaluate potential clients and advise on strategies for engagement and pursuit.
  • Collaborate with our Strategic Clients to identify, assess, and develop strategies for opportunities, while also supporting financial, scheduling, logistical, and execution plans to align with both Primoris Renewables and client expectations.
  • Once opportunities are validated, pursue projects to secure a robust backlog for the organization, ensuring alignment with financial forecasting goals.
  • Facilitate internal communication regarding potential project opportunities and devise strategies to capture project awards.
  • Partner with the Capture Team, led by the Proposal Manager, to implement capture strategies during the proposal phase, ensuring commitments from the Client Account Manager, Senior Management, and other key stakeholders are met.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for Strategic Clients throughout all development phases, including Identification & Development, Bidding, and Contracting.
  • Provide ongoing feedback regarding client perceptions of Primoris Renewables before, during, and after project execution, enabling the development of strategies for organizational improvement.
  • Continuously cultivate and maintain a strong professional network within the Energy Storage sector.
  • Actively engage in industry groups and affiliations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7+ years of experience in the EPC industry is essential, with experience across multiple departments being advantageous.
  • Prior experience in Business Development, Estimating, Proposals, or Project Management is required.
  • Experience in Energy Storage, Solar, or Renewable Energy is preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Comprehensive understanding of renewable energy (solar) and energy storage industry terminology and methodologies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively listen to clients and relay pertinent information to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Strong technical expertise within the Energy Storage sector is preferred.
  • Established relationships with major battery manufacturers are a plus.
