Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with assigned clients.
  • Identify the unique needs and challenges of each client to deliver customized HR solutions.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and HR service providers.

2. HR Consulting:

  • Provide expert advice on various HR topics, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with clients to create HR strategies that align with their business objectives.
  • Offer insights to enhance HR processes and strategies.

3. Compliance and Regulations:

  • Ensure that clients' HR practices and policies comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations, advising clients accordingly.
  • Promote adherence to best practices.

4. Employee Relations:

  • Assist clients in addressing employee relations issues, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Provide guidance on disciplinary actions and terminations while minimizing legal risks.

5. Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs within client organizations and collaborate with the sales team and clients to develop suitable training programs.
  • Coordinate training initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Offer ongoing support for HR-related inquiries.

6. Collaboration:

  • Review and comprehend all client scopes of service.
  • Work with all HR staff to ensure clients receive exceptional service and that their expectations are met.
  • Manage small projects for clients as necessary, including policy reviews and process evaluations.
  • Oversee HR projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Four to five years of experience in HR roles, focusing on client management and HR consulting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR data.
  • Proficiency in HR software, databases, and tools, with a preference for Paycor, Paylocity, UKG, APS, and iSolved.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or project implementations.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is advantageous.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, projectors, and tablets.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. The employee frequently needs to stand, walk, use hands to manipulate objects, and reach with hands and arms.
