Finance Technology Manager

Position Overview:

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Finance Technology Manager to join our dynamic team.

This role involves overseeing a skilled team that collaborates closely with IT to ensure the current financial technology landscape aligns with strategic objectives. The focus will be on developing and executing a comprehensive financial technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the Financial Technology analyst team.
  • Design and implement a robust financial technology framework that emphasizes simplicity, scalability, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with finance departments and IT leaders to drive continuous improvement and establish standardized best practices.
  • Work with IT on the enhancement and evaluation of existing software systems.
  • Ensure business continuity by maintaining thorough documentation and establishing backup personnel for critical operations.
  • Stay informed about advancements in financial technology and proactively seek solutions that enhance accounting processes and control measures.
  • Maintain a finance IT strategy and budget that aligns with the company's overarching business objectives.
  • Manage relationships and contracts with financial technology vendors and service providers.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in financial reporting, operations, and technology leadership within a mid-sized to large organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA and/or CPA (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Strong skills in mentorship and coaching.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas in both technical and business contexts.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive project management experience, particularly in cross-functional teams involving finance and IT.
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn about emerging technology trends such as AI, Automation, and Analytics.

Eligibility:

  • Verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.

Compensation:

The annual base salary ranges from $119,700 to $149,650, with potential additional compensation including commission and/or incentive programs.
