Role Responsibilities:
This role is based in our Plymouth, MN facility, contributing to our Electrophysiology (EP) medical device division. Abbott's EP business is at the forefront of heart disease treatment, leveraging innovative medical technologies to improve patient outcomes.
We are in search of a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst. Key responsibilities include:
- Monthly consolidation and reporting of financial results, along with budget cycle analysis and ad-hoc requests from leadership.
- Deep understanding of financial activities and variances to provide informed responses to leadership inquiries.
- Preparation of financial presentation materials for executive meetings.
- Participation in various projects and tasks as assigned by management.
- Support for internal and external audits through the provision of relevant reports and analyses.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of six years of progressive financial analyst experience, particularly in a manufacturing context.
- Comprehensive understanding of balance sheet transactions and their implications on income statements.
- Proven track record of implementing effective processes.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in building and maintaining Excel-based financial models.
- Experience with SAP ERP systems and Hyperion Planning/Essbase is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced credentials such as an MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
