Financial Technology Leader

Position Overview:
Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a skilled Finance Technology Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in steering a proficient group that collaborates closely with the IT department to align and sustain the existing financial technology landscape while addressing the strategic requirements of crafting and executing a financial technology roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the Financial Technology analyst team.
- Formulate, develop, and execute a thorough financial technology strategy that emphasizes simplicity, scalability, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with finance operations, IT support, and IT leadership to drive continuous process enhancements and establish standardized best practices.
- Engage with IT to facilitate the upgrading and testing of current software solutions.
- Ensure business continuity by maintaining comprehensive documentation and establishing backup personnel for critical functions.
- Stay informed about the financial technology landscape and proactively seek new technologies that can streamline and enhance accounting processes while improving the control environment.
- Maintain a finance IT strategy and budget that aligns with the company's Strategic Business Plan.
- Manage relationships and contracts with financial technology vendors and service providers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial reporting, financial operations, leading technology projects, and managing a team within a mid-sized to large organization.
- Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA and/or CPA (or equivalent certification).
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving, strategic thinking, and innovative capabilities.
- Strong mentorship and coaching abilities.
- Effective communication skills in both technical and business contexts.
- Adept at prioritizing and executing tasks in high-pressure situations.
- Extensive project management experience with exposure to project-based work structures involving finance and IT teams.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn about current and emerging technology trends, including AI, Automation, and Analytics.
Eligibility:
- Verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.
Compensation:
The annual base salary ranges from $119,700 to $149,650, with variations based on factors such as location and the candidate's qualifications. Additional compensation may include commission and/or an incentive program.
