Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a Lead Financial Analyst to become a vital member of our client's finance team. This team is responsible for overseeing financial operations across the organization’s global presence. From managing daily financial tasks to ensuring compliance with industry regulations, this team is essential in promoting efficiency and precision in critical areas such as month-end closing, compensation-related accounting, and adherence to financial standards.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries, document business processes, and perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Generate monthly analyses of balance sheets and income statements for management reporting, ensuring the consistency and accuracy of financial reports and ledgers. Address complex financial issues, provide guidance in financial matters, and identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to evaluate the impact of contractual agreements on accounting, support audits and tax filings, assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, contribute to system upgrades and implementations, and lead or assist in cross-functional projects as necessary.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Big 4 audit firms; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, including public accounting.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
  • Proactive approach to new tasks and projects, with the ability to excel in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with leadership qualities and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and Salesforce; knowledge of Business Intelligence tools is a plus.
