WORK LOCATION: Bethesda, Maryland
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Master's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of relevant experience
Associate's Degree with 12 years of relevant experience
High School/GED with 15 years of relevant experience
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Current TS SCI with Polygraph
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver program management assistance throughout the Research and Development (R&D) program planning lifecycle.
• Conduct on-site financial assessments of multi-performer government research initiatives.
• Support Program Managers by tracking prime contractor deliverables, overseeing contract performance, and acting as the liaison for external organizations regarding contract-related matters.
• Ensure effective financial oversight of government activities, including monitoring performer expenditures, formulating strategies for budget variances, assisting in the review and approval of travel budgets, and proactively managing funding actions to achieve obligation targets.
• Provide administrative support by organizing and executing technical program meetings, workshops, teleconferences, and tracking government property, equipment, and inventory utilized for research.
• Develop and present briefings and reports on program status, as well as provide prompt responses to client data requests.
• Assist in the creation, revision, and routing of approval documentation, solicitations, justifications, and source selection documents, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
• Collaborate with government personnel across various internal teams to guarantee comprehensive program management of research initiatives.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven experience in program finance, program control, or program management.
• Prior experience in administrative and financial support for complex programs.
• Familiarity with government source selection processes.
• Advanced understanding of the federal contracting landscape.
• In-depth knowledge of federal business systems and operational processes.
• Demonstrated capability to manage and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven ability to communicate and coordinate effectively across various teams and organizations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous experience with Intelligence Community (IC) business systems and processes.
• Direct experience within the IC contracting environment.
• Experience supporting R&D source selection processes.
