POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Vice President of Treasury will play a pivotal role within the financial leadership team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with various departments to advance strategic initiatives in alignment with executive leadership. This role demands effective communication with business units, ensuring they are well-informed and educated on critical treasury matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  1. Balance Sheet Oversight
    • Deliver comprehensive analyses to executive leadership and the board regarding treasury-related risks associated with the overall company balance sheet.
    • Manage the daily operations of a top-down optimization framework to facilitate the strategic allocation of capital across business units.
    • Formulate asset/liability management strategies that synchronize hedging activities with anticipated growth trajectories.
    • Facilitate collaboration among diverse teams to address essential issues in asset-liability management and balance sheet oversight.
  2. Liquidity and Funding Risk Management
    • Project and strategize balance sheet initiatives, with a primary focus on capital, funding, and liquidity management.
    • Oversee liquidity risk modeling and conduct stress-testing procedures.
  3. Interest Rate and Currency Risk Management
    • Serve as the principal risk manager for interest rate exposure.
    • Develop and implement derivative hedging strategies and enhance hedging capabilities.
    • Monitor currency exposure and create hedges to mitigate risks from currency fluctuations.
  4. Capital Strategy Leadership
    • Direct all facets of capital management within the organization.
    • Oversee and guide the company’s stock repurchase strategy.
  5. Treasury Operations Management
    • Supervise the effectiveness of treasury operations, including cash management and debt oversight.
    • Identify opportunities for enhancements in cash management and treasury operational processes.
  6. Team Leadership
    • Attract, nurture, and develop high-caliber talent within the treasury team.
    • Enhance the skills and competencies of all team members.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in treasury or corporate finance.
  • Proven experience managing various aspects of treasury operations within a financial services context.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • This role requires a hybrid work arrangement with in-office attendance as needed.
