The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in international and domestic origin management as well as freight forwarding sales, with a strong focus on Business Development.

A results-driven and strategic sales professional with a passion for revenue enhancement is sought. A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline is required (an MBA is advantageous).

The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer or Vice President of Sales, will be tasked with implementing a commercial growth strategy that emphasizes territory expansion and client acquisition.

The successful applicant will be a motivated self-starter with a strong desire to drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new business.

We are in search of an individual who is enthusiastic about the prospect of proactively identifying, nurturing, and establishing new business avenues in a competitive landscape, thereby expanding the territory.

The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will take ownership of their territory and all associated revenue opportunities. The primary goal is to achieve significant growth across all commercial services.

This role will collaborate closely with the Corporate Marketing team to foster revenue growth through direct customer engagement, effective CRM pipeline management, and the utilization of lead generation technologies.

Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of non-Company customers within the designated region, as well as current provider business models and selection criteria, is essential.

Key Responsibilities - Vice President of Strategic Partnerships
Identify, prioritize, and initiate business development opportunities throughout the entire territory.
Discover new business prospects across all three commercial services (OCM/NVOCC/Domestic).
Develop and oversee the sales process and business plans from initial contact through contract finalization, consistently meeting and exceeding individual and team objectives.
Organize business and sales presentations while navigating complex business solutions.
Monitor industry and market trends to effectively convey the value propositions of our offerings.
Engage with clients that provide sustainable and profitable revenue streams across all services.
Explore existing and potential clients for portfolio business and assist in executing various organizational functions.
Collaborate with local and international operations teams.
Lead long-term initiatives and projects.
Build customer relationships through strategic discussions to understand organizational objectives and goals; conduct a basic client needs analysis with prospective partners and align those objectives.
Maintain accurate timelines in the CRM database regarding client accounts and potential leads.
Desired Skills and Experience - Vice President of Strategic Partnerships
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Effective communicator.
Valued team player.
Proven track record in freight forwarding with a history of growing a portfolio of business and relationships.
Possesses natural empathy for the activities of others and can articulate the company's value proposition in the context of the audience's environment.
Passionate about the company's mission and values.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic, valuing ownership, accountability, and autonomy.
Experience in developing and maintaining executive-level sales relationships.
Ability to manage a sales pipeline of prospects and multiple business development proposals.
Requirements - Vice President of Strategic Partnerships
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
5 years of business development or sales experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven presentation skills at the executive level.
Willingness to travel.
Compensation Highly competitive base salary plus bonus and long-term incentives ($250K/$300K+).
