POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Vice President of Treasury will play a pivotal role within the financial leadership team. The ideal candidate will collaborate extensively with various departments to advance strategic initiatives while working closely with senior management. This role necessitates maintaining effective communication with business units, providing insights, and educating teams on critical treasury matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  1. Balance Sheet Oversight
    • Deliver comprehensive analyses to senior management and the board regarding treasury-related risks associated with the overall company balance sheet.
    • Oversee the creation of a top-down optimization strategy to facilitate ongoing capital allocation across business units.
    • Formulate asset/liability management strategies that align hedging activities with anticipated growth.
    • Facilitate collaboration among various stakeholders to address significant issues in asset/liability management and balance sheet oversight.
  2. Liquidity and Funding Risk Management
    • Project and strategize balance sheet management, with a primary focus on capital, funding, and liquidity planning.
    • Supervise liquidity risk modeling and conduct stress-testing exercises.
  3. Interest Rate and Currency Risk Management
    • Serve as the principal risk manager for interest rate exposure.
    • Design derivative hedging strategies and develop new hedging capabilities.
    • Monitor currency risks and establish hedges to mitigate potential fluctuations.
  4. Capital Management
    • Direct all facets of capital management within the organization.
    • Oversee and implement the company's stock repurchase strategy.
  5. Treasury Operations
    • Manage the effectiveness of treasury operations, including cash management and debt oversight.
    • Identify and execute enhancements to cash management and treasury operations processes.
  6. Leadership Development
    • Attract, nurture, and retain high-caliber talent.
    • Enhance the skills and capabilities of all team members.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in treasury or corporate development.
  • Proven experience managing various aspects of treasury operations within a financial services context.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management.
  • This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days of in-office work.
