Job Title: District Sales Representative - Merchandiser

Spectrum Brands is seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Sales Representative to join our team in the Home and Garden business unit. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for servicing our products at national big-box accounts, including The Home Depot and Lowe's home improvement centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed sales goals by maintaining store presentation standards through resets, fixture installation, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Plan and execute store visits for efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring that products are displayed and merchandised to drive sales.
  • Build relationships with store management and provide product knowledge training to store personnel to enhance sales.
  • Identify opportunities for incremental display space to drive volume goals and assist retail consumers with product selection and purchase.
  • Ensure compliance with performance expectations and company values, including safety, attendance, and travel.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or additional training preferred.
  • One to two years of previous sales and/or retail experience, with leadership or supervisory experience a plus.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, manage time effectively, and demonstrate a high level of initiative and sense of urgency.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • PC skills, including spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software.
