Floor Maintenance Specialist

Job Overview:
The Floor Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of designated areas within the facility, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in floor care and housekeeping
Key Responsibilities:
- Floor Care:
Utilize various cleaning equipment and techniques to maintain carpets and hard surface floors, including:- Vacuuming carpets and performing spot cleaning with extractors or buffers.
- Using brooms, mops, and buffers for sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and sanitizing.
- Reporting any damage to flooring and carpets.
- Properly mixing and disposing of cleaning chemicals.
- Maintaining and storing cleaning equipment, performing minor repairs as needed.
- Safety Protocols:
Adhere to safety guidelines by:- Wearing personal protective equipment as required.
- Using appropriate cleaning materials.
- Reporting unsafe conditions.
- Following isolation procedures when necessary.
- Room Management:
Assist in setting up and tearing down rooms for events, ensuring proper movement of furniture and equipment. - Additional Duties:
Complete project reports, attend mandatory training sessions, and assist with inventory management.
Work Environment:
This position requires punctuality and adherence to uniform standards, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
Compensation:
Full-Time Salary Range: 37,648 – 73,673.60
