Overview:

The Floor Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in designated areas, adhering to established protocols and procedures.


Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in floor care and housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Floor Care:
    Utilize vacuum cleaners for carpet maintenance; operate carpet extractors or bonnet buffers for spot cleaning and carpet upkeep.
  • Employ brooms, mops, and buffers to clean, scrub, strip, and refinish hard surface floors, ensuring they are sanitized and disinfected.
  • Identify and report any damage to carpets and flooring, as well as stains that cannot be removed.
  • Properly mix, use, and dispose of floor care chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Maintain and store floor care equipment correctly; operate cleaning machinery as per instructions, and perform minor repairs as needed.

Safety Protocols:
  • Adhere to personal protective equipment guidelines and universal precautions.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and report any unsafe conditions.
  • Follow isolation procedures as required.

Room Setup and Breakdown:
  • Assist in moving furniture and equipment as instructed, employing proper body mechanics.
  • Facilitate room setup and breakdown for special events as directed.

Additional Duties:
  • Complete reports detailing tasks accomplished during shifts.
  • Participate in mandatory training sessions as scheduled.
  • Utilize pallet jacks for moving supplies as necessary.

Non-Essential Functions:
  • Arrive and depart from work punctually.
  • Maintain consistent attendance with minimal absenteeism.
  • Return from breaks on time and adhere to uniform standards.

Position Details:
Full-Time Salary Range: 37,648 – 73,673.60
Shift: Evening
