Summary: The Floor Care Specialist is responsible for the upkeep, restoration, and operation of industrial floor maintenance equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain expertise in hard-surface floor maintenance and implement appropriate procedures for care, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, and spray cleaning.
- Operate various industrial floor care machinery.
- Utilize automated equipment for extensive floor surface cleaning.
- Follow correct procedures for carpet and upholstery care, including shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
- Conduct maintenance and restorative tasks for all types of flooring.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Prior experience as a floor care technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques is essential.
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols.
- Physical capability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
