Job Summary:

The Regional Development Schools Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of the Regional Development Schools (RDS) program. This includes the development and implementation of comprehensive curriculums for each program, primarily focused on technical skills, tactical understanding, physical conditioning, and mental resilience, tailored to youth players.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:
    • Oversight of all program operations to ensure world-class program execution of RDS Residential Camps, Talent ID Centers, GK Wars, and RDS Tournaments.
    • Assist with the planning and operations of RDS Clinics, RDS Day Camps, RDS Showcase Teams, and Regional Select.
  • Administration, Planning, and Budget Management:
    • Planning and execution of all programs, including venue management, tryout planning, onsite program management, coaching staff management, and scheduling.
    • Identification of key geographical areas of opportunity to run programs and securing host facilities.
    • Develop an annual sales and operating budget for all programs.
    • Prepare presentations, proposals, and legal contracts for all venues and facilities.
    • Manage program budgets effectively, optimizing resources to deliver high-quality programs and experiences for players.
  • Program Marketing and Sales:
    • Create and implement a sales plan to maximize program registrations for RDS Residential Camps, Talent ID Centers, GK Wars, and RDS Tournaments.
    • This includes direct outbound calls to parents, parent coaches, and club members, along with grassroots player prospecting.
    • Track sales performance and provide regular revenue reports.
    • Create and implement an aggressive marketing strategy to maximize exposure and awareness of programs within the youth soccer community and maximize registrations in all RDS and Supplemental training areas.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to develop assets, email, and social media marketing campaigns.
  • Player Scouting and Recruitment:
    • Day-to-day scouting and recruitment of high-level youth soccer players from partner clubs for invitation into the RDS programming.
    • Diligent tracking of all players involved within the pathway, ensuring that top prospects are recognized and funneled into select pathways.
    • Build positive relationships with key stakeholders, such as local clubs, federations, and scouting networks, to enhance collaboration and opportunities for player advancement.
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide world-class customer service to players, families, teams, and clubs through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
  • RDS Coaching Staff Management:
    • Management and support of RDS Coordinators and RDS Coaches.
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of skilled coaches and support staff.
    • Directly manage, develop, and support all staff, ensuring alignment and best practices are implemented across all select programs.
    • Delegate responsibilities effectively, ensuring that all staff members are aligned with the program's coaching methodology and values.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, provide ongoing feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities for staff members.
  • Fan Development:
    • Work with Youth Ticket representatives to create experiences and outings for all programs, building the connection to the club for all players and families.
