Regional Manager Job Description

Conifer Realty is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to join our Property Management Leadership Team. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the daily operations and management of assigned properties, maximizing Net Operating Income (NOI) in accordance with property budgets and business plans, and minimizing individual property vacancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations and management of assigned properties
  • Maximize NOI in accordance with property budgets and business plans
  • Minimize individual property vacancies
  • Collaborate with key partners in Compliance, Property Management, Property Finance, Asset Management, People + Culture, and outside housing authority representatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Regional Manager with a total of 5+ years of prior residential apartment site management experience
  • Minimum 1-2+ years of experience in Affordable Housing with Low-Income Tax Credit, HUD-Section 8, Rural Development, and/or other compliance experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience, including training and performance management, recruiting, team building, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Prior budgeting experience and strong accounting/business skills with financial management experience, including maximizing NOI for all assigned sites

Additional Requirements:

  • High competency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • YARDI Voyager software experience preferred or other housing programs a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree or some college preferred; minimum High School degree or GED equivalent required
  • Professional affordable housing/housing industry certifications preferred or willing to obtain
  • Flexibility for regional weekly automobile travel depending on site activities
