Job Summary
The Director, School Operations, Regional Operations will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of KIPP NYC's schools. This position will be responsible for managing the operations of multiple schools, including financial management, compliance, testing, and student enrollment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in school operations management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the operations of multiple schools, including financial management, compliance, testing, and student enrollment.
- Develop and implement operations initiatives to improve school performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with school principals and directors of operations to ensure effective implementation of regional policies and procedures.
- Provide coaching and support to directors of operations to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
- Develop and manage budgets for multiple schools, ensuring effective financial management and compliance with regional policies.
- Collaborate with regional support teams to ensure effective implementation of regional initiatives and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education or business.
- At least 8 years of experience in school operations management, with a minimum of 6 years of coaching and managing school operations staff.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop productive working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to exercise discretion and judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information.
Benefits
KIPP NYC offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 403(b) retirement plan with 50% match, and paid time off.
