Adjunct Faculty Member

Pasco-Hernando State College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach a variety of coursework in the Engineering Technology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, preparing, and teaching courses that meet the educational needs of assigned students.
Responsibilities- Design and deliver instruction that meets the College's policies, procedures, and approved curricula.
- Respond to the special needs and reasonable accommodations of students with disabilities.
- Provide students with a course syllabus and submit copies to the appropriate Academic Dean.
- Maintain and submit accurate grade rosters and class attendance records.
- Assess student progress and post student grades.
- Provide academic assistance to students through office hours or by appointment.
- Adhere to College and departmental policies.
- Participate in programs and/or activities that enhance professional development.
- Review the Full-Time Faculty and Adjunct Faculty Handbook prior to teaching classes.
- Attend and participate in faculty meetings, as assigned.
- Master's degree in one of the qualifying fields or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
- Qualifying fields include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, and Manufacturing Technology.
- Advanced organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively with students, and ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders.
