Adjunct Faculty Position in Photography

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach photography courses at Pasco-Hernando State College. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging coursework, providing students with a supportive learning environment, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities- Design and deliver high-quality photography courses that meet the educational needs of assigned students.
- Provide students with a course syllabus, which includes the requirements listed in the Syllabus Template, and submit copies to the appropriate Academic Dean.
- Maintain accurate grade rosters and class attendance records, and submit them to College personnel within established deadlines.
- Assess student progress and post student grades.
- Provide academic assistance to students, including office hours and appointments.
- Adhere to College and departmental policies, and participate in programs that enhance professional development.
- Review the Full-Time Faculty and Adjunct Faculty Handbook prior to teaching classes.
- Attend and participate in faculty meetings, as assigned.
- Master's degree in Art, Fine Arts, or Photography, or a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of the qualifying fields.
- Knowledge of photography principles and practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with all stakeholders.
