Adjunct Instructor, Computer Aided Drafting

Pasco-Hernando State College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Computer Aided Drafting courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality instruction to students, as well as maintaining accurate records and adhering to college policies.
Responsibilities- Develop and teach Computer Aided Drafting courses, ensuring that instruction meets the educational needs of assigned students.
- Provide students with a course syllabus, which includes the requirements listed in the Syllabus Template, and submit copies to the appropriate Academic Dean.
- Maintain accurate grade rosters and class attendance records, submitting them to College personnel within established deadlines.
- Assess student progress and post student grades.
- Provide academic assistance to students, including a minimum of one office hour per week, and participate in programs that enhance professional development.
- Adhere to College and departmental policies, and review the Full-Time Faculty and Adjunct Faculty Handbook prior to teaching classes.
- Attend and participate in faculty meetings, as assigned.
- Master's degree in Industrial Management or a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the qualifying fields.
- Qualifying fields include Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Drafting, Industrial Arts, Industrial Management, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, and Manufacturing Technology.
- Advanced organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively with students, and ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders.
