Key Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Mainspring Energy, you will be instrumental in aligning design with production processes. Your role will encompass:

  • Collaborating with design engineers to enhance manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new mechanical components.
  • Employing industry-standard methodologies such as DOE, PFMEA, and 8D to identify risks and optimize manufacturing parameters.
  • Driving process optimization initiatives to improve production line efficiency.
  • Supporting prototyping efforts and developing comprehensive manufacturing documentation.
  • Planning layouts for future factory designs and defining process readiness for automation.
  • Working closely with suppliers and engineering teams to establish effective manufacturing and testing processes.
  • Evaluating fabrication technologies for specific designs and conducting validation experiments to assess feasibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in transitioning new products from design to manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly process planning, tolerance analysis, and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks for 2D/3D CAD design.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is competitive and includes base pay, pre-IPO stock options, and benefits. Compensation will be adjusted based on market conditions and individual experience.
