Position: Outreach Caseworker
Organization: Coordinated Care Services, Inc. (CCSI)
Employment Type: Part-Time, Nonexempt (20 hours)
About the Role:
CCSI is seeking a dedicated Outreach Caseworker to provide critical support services to our partner organizations and the communities we serve. This role focuses on engaging with at-risk youth and their families, promoting nonviolent solutions, and assisting crime victims through community-based initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with at-risk youth, young adults, and their families.
- Conducting outreach efforts in neighborhoods, particularly in areas with heightened risk.
- Participating in community events to raise awareness and provide resources.
- Collaborating with various organizations to enhance community outreach efforts.
- Attending regular debriefing sessions to assess outreach strategies.
- Facilitating mediations within the community and partnering with local organizations.
- Contributing to the development and execution of programs aimed at supporting high-risk youth.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience.
- Training in areas such as trauma-informed care, restorative practices, and conflict resolution.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of all mandatory background checks.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including some weekends for community events.
